Frontier Equine Dentistry is owned and operated by Steve & Charlotte Bradshaw who have been living, competing and working within the Equestrian industry collectively for almost 40 years. This unique company primarily provides Equine Dentistry however Steve also has extensive experience freeze branding, breaking and training horses.
The company ethos is to deliver advanced methods in horse handling and stockmanship, giving the horse the best possible chance of a pleasant experience.
Steve first started his dentistry training at Longreach Agricultural College back in 1997 as part of an Agricultural Diploma.
Throughout his equestrian pursuits in Australia and Europe, Steve has been required to maintain the dental health of horses in his charge.
Since settling in Victoria and establishing Frontier Equine Dentistry near Kyabram, Steve furthered his dentistry training with an emphasis on the anatomy of the horse and advanced skills in manual horse dentistry.
A focus is put on a drug free experience for the horse and ideally developing trust between dentist and patient, where sedation may be required a veterinarian is consulted however not before all quiet and comforting techniques have been applied.
When not being a dentist, Steve still takes a small number of breakers and occasionally works for a film livestock company which supplies small animals and livestock to the Film, TV and Music industries.
When not on a horse or in its mouth Steve can also be found spending time with his wife and two young children.
